This piece is inspired by a building facade I came across in Barcelona. What stood out wasn’t any single detail, but the way the colours sat next to each other. Warm, sun-worn, and slightly uneven.
The palette leans into those soft, earthy, peachy tones such as muted pinks, clay, sand, and faded neutrals. There’s a sense of warmth throughout, like surfaces that have been sitting in the sun for years.
Made from hand-cut and folded paint swatches, each piece catches light a little differently, giving the surface a quiet sense of movement. The arrangement is structured but not rigid, echoing the subtle irregularities you notice in older architecture.
Materials: Reclaimed paper-based paint swatches and color fan decks on a cardboard substrate
Dimensions including frame: 11” × 9” × 1 5/8" (280mm × 229mm × 41mm)
Each artwork includes a complimentary frame for protection during shipping and arrives ready to hang in either portrait or landscape orientation. The artwork can be easily removed and custom framed if desired.
